Thames Hire Centre offers you a wide range of plant, equipment and trailer hire to suit both the Commercial Trade and Home Handyman. We are very confident that our hire rates are very competitive and our equipment is well maintained.

Trading Hours
0700 – 1700 Monday – Friday
0700 – 1200 Saturday

Rates
Rates are charged from time equipment leaves our premises to the time it’s returned. GST is included on rates.
Minimum half day rates are for up to a 5 hour period during our normal trading hours.
Full day rate is from 5 hours up to 24 hour period, any overnight hire or outside our normal trading hours is classed as a full day rate.
Discounted long-term rates available to 5 days unbroken and over.
Weekend Deal!
Pay a single day rate for the whole Weekend!!!
The general weekend rate is a one day rate for the weekend, collection starts from 1600 Friday (or Saturday morning) and return before 0900 on a Monday.
Hire terms, rates, and return times will vary over public holidays and long weekends.
The weekend deal is excluded from any long-term hire period as the hire rate is already discounted.

Terms & Conditions of Hire
On collection of any equipment, you will be required to complete and sign a Hire Agreement, a part of this hire agreement will be to except and acknowledge the below terms & conditions of hire.
- To understand the Safety Instructions and associated hazard information given and acknowledge the Personal Protective Equipment required.
- To ensure the machine is to be used in satisfactory working conditions, to safely operate in accordance with the law; and within the manufacturer’s purpose and use perimeters.
- To understand responsibility for the safe-guarding the equipment from damage, or loss and theft.
- To understand equipment returned in a dirty or damaged condition may incur additional charges, and tyre damage, punctures and blowouts are your responsibility.
- To acknowledge consumables such as abrasives and fuel will be charged as an extra.
- If hiring a trailer that the Tow Coupling is correctly hitched and your vehicle is capable to tow the Trailer / Implement.
Charcoal Roasting Spit – New Featured Item
We have recently procured a 1.4m Charcoal Roasting Spit. It’s the perfect catering option for large events, functions or family gatherings. It takes approximately 6 hours to roast a lamb or 8 hours for a medium pig. Cost is $150 per event/weekend and there will be an additional $120 bond subject to refund as long as it is returned clean and undamaged.
